jasper software package provides Configure a preinstalled ext2/3 system image, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jasper
jasper is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jasper package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jasper *
You will get with jasper package name, version, architecture and description in a table
